Genesis is upgrading its luxury electric SUV with more style, a bigger battery, and a refined interior. It even comes with an NACS port to access Tesla Superchargers. Less than a month after Genesis introduced the updated Electrified GV70 at the LA Auto Show, we are already getting our first look at the new EV out in public.
According to Genesis North America COO COO Claudia Márquez, the new GV70 EV has “all of the utility and interior refinement of a great SUV” with the brand’s iconic drive and stylish design.
Genesis fine-tuned the exterior design with a redesigned G-Matrix Crest Grille. The signature two-line headlamps feature microlens array (MLA) tech for better visibility. You may also notice that the updated model gains bigger air intakes, adding to its already sporty look.
The rear has also been modified with new turn signals to match the updated two-line headlamps. You can also choose from redesigned 19″ and 21″ wheels.
Genesis gave us a preview last month, but we are getting a better look at what to expect after the new GV70 EV was spotted in public for the first time.
